Steps

    Create your key in the app: app.vaelico.ai → API keys → New key (it starts with vk_).

  2. 2

    Open Settings → AI Connections.

  3. 3

    Add a connection and choose the OpenAI Compatible type.

  4. 4

    Give it a Name (e.g. "Vaelico").

  5. 5

    Set Base URL to https://api.vaelico.ai/v1 (include /v1, no /chat/completions).

  6. 6

    Paste your vk_ API Key.

  7. 7

    NovelCrafter lists models automatically — pick artemis.

Good to know

NovelCrafter requires the API to expose a /v1/models endpoint — Vaelico’s API does.

If a model doesn’t load on Firefox/Safari, use a Chromium-based browser.
